ENERGY HEALING PRACTICES OF THE INCA SHAMAN
For thousands of years, the shamans of the Andes and the Amazon have practiced a very simple but effective form of energy healing. They work directly with the Luminous Energy Field of the person desiring assistance. This orb of living light that surrounds the body contains the subtle bodies and the blueprint for our physical body. It exists out of time and space, but follows us through each incarnation, creating a new physical body time after time. It also retains the memories of trauma, disease and violence, which appear as imprints in the Luminous Energy Field. When these imprints are triggered or activated, a reoccurrence of the emotional trauma or physical injury can take place. The shaman is trained to track these imprints and release them from the field.
All of the healing work that takes place during a session is done within sacred space, which provides safety and nurturing for the client. In addition to invoking the four directions, the Earth Mother and Great Spirit in order to connect with the archetypes of the natural world, the shaman also expands her light body over the client. This vessel of light serves as a “combustion chamber” for the dense energies that are released during the session. An illumination is always performed in addition to the other processes. This creates a change of affinity for the energy that has just been released, so that it is not drawn back into the field. Processing follows a healing session, to enable the client to understand the appropriate life shifts that need to be made.
